Hi, I’m Amy.
I appreciate you taking the time to be here. I’ve been an interior designer for over 17 years. I created by own business when I wanted more flexibility with my schedule while raising our family of 5 kids. Born and raised in the Long Beach area, my husband Ben and I took the leap just a few years ago and moved to San Clemente, CA. Our kids are now ranging from 7 to 19 and I love that I’ve been able to continue serving clients in the Long Beach area while building new connections with clients, builders and trades in South Orange County.
As a woman, mother, friend and business owner, connecting with people has always been a top priority. Throughout the years, I have been fortunate to support small businesses in the design/ build industry, mentor future design professionals and support the community by donating fabrics and supplies to local hospitals. As my business has evolved, the sense of community has too.
What is my purpose and drive behind Amy Rex Designs? Nothing gives me greater joy professionally than knowing I'm helping clients achieve an end goal of a beautifully transformed spaced customized to them. Working with many new home owners, I strive to be a great resource to client's throughout the design process. I enjoy meeting clients early in their home ownership to quickly realize the potential of the space and make it more usable to them. Being able to support clients through the hurdles of construction and ease is so important to me all while making sure the design selections give them a beautiful space that feels timeless.
Some of the most important strengths I wish to share with my clients have come from experience in the field, staying ahead of design movements (not trends), on-going industry courses, attending design markets and home parades that offer cutting edge applications and design. My love and passion for design always has me striving for the best possible experience for my clients.
